Pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, is often accompanied by psychological challenges, including anxiety related to the impending process of childbirth. This study aimed to describe the level of anxiety among third-trimester pregnant women facing childbirth at Ubung Health Center, Central Lombok. A descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study involved 38 respondents selected through purposive sampling, with data collected using validated anxiety questionnaires. The results indicated that 44% of respondents experienced mild anxiety, 32% moderate anxiety, 14% severe anxiety, and 10% reported no anxiety. Factors such as age, parity, education, and occupation appeared to influence anxiety levels. These findings underscore the importance of integrating psychological assessment into antenatal care to prevent adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes. Interventions such as prenatal education, counseling, and emotional support are crucial to help pregnant women manage their anxiety effectively.
