Analisis Marxisme dalam Novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck Karya Hamka: Perspektif Model Genetik Lucien Goldmann

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek marxisme dalam novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka dengan menggunakan pendekatan model genetik Lucien Goldmann. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada perjuangan kelas, struktur mental kolektif, dan kritik sosial yang tercermin dalam tokoh dan alur cerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis teks, di mana data utama berasal dari kutipan novel dan data sekunder dari teori-teori relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel ini merepresentasikan ketidakadilan sosial, stratifikasi kelas, serta ketegangan antara adat Minangkabau dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan universal. Struktur mental kolektif masyarakat Minangkabau tampak melalui adat matrilineal, sementara kritik sosial tercermin dari marginalisasi tokoh Zainuddin. Temuan ini memperkuat pandangan bahwa karya sastra tidak hanya produk estetika, tetapi juga cermin kondisi sosial budaya masyarakat.
